Apollo: god of the Sun and the arts
Apollo is the Roman god of the sun and the arts. It is a divinity appreciated in the Roman society). Number of cults is dedicated to him on all the Roman territory. It is one of the most important gods of the Roman pantheon.
The god Apollo is the Roman version of the Greek god Apollo. Apollo is the god of the sun but the Greco-Roman mythology he attribute an exploit: that to have overcome the monster Python.

APOLLO AND DAPHNE
Apollo forbids Cupid to use certain weapons. Furious, Cupid shoots him an arrow inspiring him a passionate love for the nymph Daphné. Then, Cupid shoots a second arrow, this time intended for the nymph. The arrow scares off love. Daphné runs away then in wood. Apollo pursues it but Daphné always runs away. Pénée, the father of Daphné, transform this one into laurel. Apollo decides while the laurel will be from now on its tree.
